Electrostatic vs. Non Electrostatic
Airmix electrostatic spray equipment produces paint droplets much smaller than alternative spray technologies. The atomized paint droplets are also given an electrical charge which forces them to cling to the surface of your product or equipment. This reduces coating waste and overspray, and results in a more efficient spraying system for your products.

- Make sure both the operator and target are properly grounded.
- Operate the spray gun with a bare hand ( or grounded glove) to prevent the buildup of electric charge.
- If the coating used is particularly conductive (such as waterborne coatings) isolation could be required.
