The Sales Professional at High Point Pneumatics is responsible for driving revenue and customer engagement within the Eastern North Carolina territory. This individual will partner with manufacturers to provide tailored industrial finishing equipment solutions —primarily focused on liquid finishing, powder coating, and other coating applications. The role includes on-the-ground client interaction, education, and ongoing support, from initial contact through equipment startup and training.
Responsibilities
- Travel throughout the assigned Eastern NC territory to meet with prospective and existing customers
- Conduct daily outreach through phone calls and in-person meetings to generate and nurture leads
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and offering tailored solutions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, leads, and customer interactions
- Educate customers on how our equipment and services can improve their operational efficiency and bottom line
- Oversee the successful startup and training of equipment at customer sites, ensuring a smooth transition and strong customer satisfaction
Qualifications
(Preferred) Familiarity with industrial equipment, finishing systems, or B2B sales in the manufacturing sector
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport and trust
Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales goals
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through and documentation habits
Strong time management skills and a sense of urgency when addressing customer needs
Ability to work independently in the field while also collaborating effectively with internal team members
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify customer challenges and recommend effective solutions
